THE NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
The National Executive Council (NEC) is the highest ranking administrative body within the Pillar of Zion Church International, overseeing all Regional Executive Councils (REC) and ensuring the implementation of church-wide policies and directives. The NEC derives its informed decisions from the General Council, integrating input from various levels of church leadership to maintain coherence and alignment with the church’s mission and vision.
Composition of the National Executive Council:
1. General Overseer & Spouse: Provides visionary leadership and strategic direction for the entire church.
2. General Secretary: Manages administrative functions and ensures effective communication across all levels.
3. Head Organizer: Oversees organizational activities and ensures smooth operational flow.
4. Assistant General Secretary: Supports the General Secretary in administrative duties.
5. Regional Heads: Lead their respective regions and ensure alignment with national policies.
6. Chosen Executives by the Council: Appointed by the General Council to represent various interests and areas of expertise.
7. Heads of General Ministries: Represent various ministry areas and ensure their alignment with church goals.
This structure ensures that the NEC effectively governs the church's extensive operations, making well- informed decisions that reflect the diverse needs and perspectives of the church community.
